Jacob Edwards
– Gold Medal in Boys 110 Hurdles, Gold in 300 Hurdles Gold in 09 HHSAA Track Championships
Kuuipo Nakoa –Gold Medal in Girls Long Jump, Bronze In Triple Jump in 09 HHSAA Track Championships
Lia Galdeira F –09 HHSAA Tournament MVP –Led Konawaena Wildcats to the 09 HHSAA Championship and 09 BIIF Girls Basketball Championship
Mana Silva FS - Kamehameha -HI grad, started in the defensive backfield of the UH Warriors in 09 where he recorded 47 solo tackles, 27 assisted tackles, and had a team high 6 interceptions.
Kolten Wong CF – Kamehameha-HI grad, had a three homerun game. Also qualified for the Team USA comprised of the top collegiate baseball players in the U.S. , competed against other nations in a world tournament. Also named Louisville Slugger all freshman team for 2009 and preseason all american 3rd team for the 2010 season.

eisha Kanekoa G - Former Honokaa grad, UH Wahine Warrior basketball - earned a starting position (27 games) at guard averaging 11 points per game, along with 4.4 rebounds per game.
Leilani Galdones G -Former Kamehameha-HI grad, Uh Wahine Warrior basketball - averaged 12.2 minutes per game in 2009. Averaged 2.81 points per game.
Kimberly Kim - Freshman at Denver University Reached Finals of the Womens Amateur Public Links and U.S. Girls Junior Championship, also won the AJGA Rolex Junior Girls Championship
Matt Hassenritter 1b - Former Hilo High grad, closed out his UHH Baseball career with a .392 batting average. Started 36 games for the Vulcans and had 47 hits, 12 doubles, 4 homeruns, and 29 RBI's. Had al lofty slugging average of .592 and an on base percentage of .439.
Amber Waracka P -UHH Vulcan pitching ace for the Softball Vulcans. Had a stellar 1.79 ERA in 09 with 144 strikeouts in 160 innings pitched resulting in a 15-12 record.

2b - Hilo High grad, led the  UHH Vulcans softball team in  RBIs (24).
Jessica Hanato G/F -Konwaena High grad, closed out a successful UHH Womens Basektball career, one of the Vulcan captains and scoring leaders in 2009
Sheila Azevedo C-Waiakea High grad closed out a succesful UHH Womens Basketball career as the leading rebounder and scorer for the Vulcans
Cheyne Hirota
1B–Waiakea High grad, HPU Baseball 09 Hirota had  a tremendous offensive year for the Sea Warrior baseball program.  
Blake Amaral LF–Kamehameha-HI grad, HPU Baseball 09 Broke Hawaii Pacific University’s single game RBI record with a whopping 10 in a game versus the UH Vulcans on Oahu.
Kozy Toriano U -Kamehameha-HI grad, utility player for the HPU Sea Warriors softball team, started in 52 games with 48 hits, 14 doulbes, 1 triple, 8 stolen bases with a 353 batting average.
Laine Shikuma U -Waiakea High grad, utility player for the HPU Sea Warriors softball team. Played in 52 games had 31 hits, 10 runs with 8 RBI's with a .330 batting average.
Chelsey Buyuan
OH–Versatile Volleyball talent led Waiakea Girls VB team to the 09 BIIF Girls Volleyball Championship and a respectable HHSAA Tournament
Jordan Naia Ursua  QB-Led Kealakehe to BIIF Football Crown. In one game had an interception touchdown, couple of offensive touchdowns and threw for another.
Afa Tualaulelei DL–Anchored the Kealakehe defense for the 2008-09 DI BIIF Football Champions Kealakehe. Was the leagues top defensive players.
Elliot Kastner LB/OL–Anchored the HPA offensive and defense for the 2008-09 DII BIIF Football runnerup HPA
Sam Unger WR– Led the Konawaena Wildcats to the 2008-09 DII BIIF Football Championships. Was one of the top offensive receivers and versatile players
Ryan Fukunaga SSHilo High Shortstop led BIIF 09 DI Baseball Champions and league In RBI’s (26), Runs (26), Home runs, Doubles, Triples, Walks with a hefty .429 Batting average.
Ryan Rice�P- Led BIIF DII Baseball Champions HPA in the BIIF Tournament with some stellar pitching
Isaiah Ekau/Keoni Bailado OH - Named to the 17’s Junior Olympics All Tournament team for the 2009 tournament, help lead the Pilipa'a 17's Junior team to the Bronze medal in the 09 Junior Olympics
Dakota Allen
C/F–Led Waiakea Boys basketball team to the DI Championship, inside presence was dominating.
Brandon Bautista- G Kohala guard led Kohala to the 2009 DII HHSAA Boys basketball semifinal game. Dominated the DII Boys division with his road runner speed, non stop hustle and solid floor leader
Chloe Nishioka
– Def. Dominating defensive Soccer player (sweeper), helped the DI Hilo Viking Girls Soccer championsip defense to record shutouts and best defense in the league
Becca Hiraishi F –Led the DI Hilo Vikings Girls Soccer team in Offense and a big leg on the competition
Jessica Marote F –Led the competitive and DII Girls Soccer Champions Kamehameha to the title. Led the team in offense as a forward
Kanisha Bello G- Named Gatorade Player of the Year for Girls Basketball for the State of Hawaii
Kamie Imai
F/G– Led Waiakea Girls Basketball team to an HHSAA tournament appearance. Had a productive 2009 offensive season.
Joelle Cabasa- G -Led Kamehameha to the DII Girls Basketball Championship and a runner up finish in the 2009 HHSAA Girls DII Championship. Her floor leadership and tough defense was the core of the Warrior team.
Denton Langer
F–Led Kealakehe to the Boys DI Soccer Championship. The Leagues best offensive player.
Rory Balano Def. –Helped Kealakehe Boys DI Soccer Championship team in defense. Considered the leagues best defensive player
Korey Tsubota –F Was the DII Champions HPA Boys Soccer team MVP.
Mindy Cambell (HPA) Girls High Jump Gold Medal in 09 HHSAA Track Championships
David King –Set 09 BIIF record for pole vault 15-0’
Tialana Greenwell (Honokaa)– Silver medal in girls 3000 Run, and a 7th place fininsh in the 09 HHSAA cross country championships
Scott Hunter (Hilo High) 2009 HHSAA Track Championships silver medal in boys pole vault  
TJ Dela Cruz (Hilo High) 2009 HHSAA Track Championships silver boys 110 Hurdles
Aubrey Lea Shaw (Kamehameha) 2009 HHSAA Track Championships silver girls 300 Hurdles
Alana Tsue  P– Led Waiakea High to the 09 BIIF Championships in Softball. League leading pitcher. Also led the RBI Softball team to the 09 World Series Championship.
Kiani Wong  P – Led Kamehameha to the 2009 DII BIIF Softball Championship, was DII Player of the year
Chandler Kaaa OH– Led the Kamehameha Boys Volleyball team to a runner up finish in the BIIF and had a stellar 09 HHSAA tournament. The Warriors made it deep into the tournament reaching the semifinal game before losing to eventual champion Punahou.
Shelton Kalilikane OH–One of the BIIF Boys Volleyball best talents. Led Honokaa to the HHSAA tournament berth
Kaulana Kalauli-Rowe OH –Led Hilo to the DII Boys Volleyball Title. Also helped the Vikings reach the championship in the 2009 HHSAA DII Volleyball Championships
Taase Iona OH–Led Honokaa Girls Volleyball team in 08-09. One of the DII leagues top offensive players.
